Making wine since 2002


BHFV has been making wine since our Founder, Sam Rubin’s, very first harvest back in 2002. There has been a great deal learned during that time which has resulted in the continuous improvement of what is an expanded and highly touted selection of delicious wine.

When we started, we were just about Merlot but that soon changed and this year (2017) we release our latest and driest Rose which is aptly named Pink Satin because it is one lustrous addition. This is a sister wine to our extremely creative and popular White Satin. We are experiencing one great response which makes us very proud. It is our 15th present offering.

We set the bar very high with each wine and adhere to strict growing and harvesting practices. We always say that we nurture our wine from start to finish because our careful approach in our vineyard is just the start.

Our winemaker, Tom Drozd, supervises the aging and processing of our limited production wine, working very closely with us during the winemaking journey once it commences so as to achieve this high BHFV standard.
