Our Commitment to You

When you sip our wine and enjoy its smoothness and sumptuous flavor, you will immediately sense the quality and purity of the delicious, hand-harvested grapes that reflect the Rubin family's tradition of dedication, caring and commitment.

"We do not use any chemical fertilizers in our vineyard. We also do not use herbicides. Instead, we turn the weeds right back into the soil by cultivating them with our tractor and by hand hoeing, a seemingly never-ending and painstaking process. This very positive protocol shows up in the taste of our wine", says Richard Rubin.

From the moment you walk into our Tasting House, you will sense our commitment to you because there will always be service with a smile and a continued genuine concern for your comfort and enjoyment, simply because you are our guest and we appreciate that. So, from the wine and food to the entertainment, tours of our vineyard and horses to hear the stories of their rescue, to the pony rides... BHFV will be one of your most favorite, fun and convenient places (only 3.8 miles north of the LIE at Exit 71) to visit and hang out.
